Two things that must be considered for by an owner of Industrial Athletic Slam Balls:

1. Slam balls should be topped up with air regularly. If they are not, then the pressure on the valve (weak spot) is immense and can cause failure.
2. The sand inside the slam Balls does settle and become hard like a rock. Slamming a compacted and/or cold ball on the ground can cause a rupture. Slam balls always need to be warmed up before use. This is best achieved by rolling the ball on the ground until the sand feels fluid again, and the ball feels warm.

We have a 6-month warranty on our slam balls. Please ensure you service them as above, warm them up, and look after them.
