Known as the change plate, sold as a pair of 1.25kg Rubber Coated Steel Olympic bar change plates (2.5kg total) with steel ring for durability.  Hard-core styling in black. Bumper plates allow you to safely drop any load from the waist, chest, or even overhead with the confidence that you will not damage yourself, or your equipment.

Change plates should compliment this, and not damage your precious bar, that’s why we went Heavy Duty Virgin Rubber over Steel for our version of the classic. Heavy dead-lifts, overhead presses, snatches, and cleans (and many others) can be attempted with the confidence that you can bail out without major consequence or injury, or damage to equipment. What?s its best use? Minor increments are where gains are made. The ability to hit a max lift, and keep on progressing is what builds strength, and of course confidence.

Important: All of our Bumper plates are coated with a silicon oil prior to packaging, to protect the plates in transit.  This can be simply removed with a rag, and surface cleaner.  We recommend a natural product such as “Simple Green”, or simply use diluted laundry or dish-wash detergent.
